Rick Tyrrell is Feasterville Business
Association’s 2022 Person of the Year. Tyrrell has been
a member of the FBA for the past 10 years and has served
as the professional business association’s president, vice
president and as a long-time member of its executive
board. He is being singled out for special attention for
his service to the FBA, as well as the community-at-large.
Tyrrell is the founder, owner and operator of Cheese Dawgs
Restaurant located at 318 Bustleton Pike in Feasterville-Trevose,
PA, which he established a decade ago. The restaurant features
Tyrrell’s unique combinations and has become a local favorite. It was
named the most loved restaurant in Feasterville for 2022 on Yelp and
Doordash and Travel and Leisure Magazine previously identified it as
having the best hot dog in Pennsylvania in 2021.
Born in Abington, PA, he lived in Trevose and attended Assumption
B.V.M. Church. He is an alumnus of Pleasant Valley High School in
the Pocono Mountains and developed personal recipes through his
experiences living in Texas, Florida and New York.
He has been an active member of the Holy Ghost Preparatory
School Fathers Guild in Bensalem, PA and served as a Little League
baseball coach for the Bensalem Ramblers. He and his wife, Mary
have two adult boys, Rick, 24 and Jason, 22. He additionally is a
member of the Lower Southampton Comprehensive Plan Committee
overseeing progress and structural development in the community.

LINDA PUPKIEWICZ, OF BENSALEM, PA WILL BE HONORED AS THE PERSON OF THE YEAR BY THE FEASTERVILLE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION AT THEIR ANNUAL FROLIC Oct 8, 2021
Linda Pupkiewicz, of Bensalem, PA , who recently retired after a 33 year
career with the Library of Lower Southampton Township, will be honored as the Person of the Year by the Feasterville Business Association at their annual frolic to be held at the Philmont Country Club, located at 301 Tomlinson Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA on Saturday, May 2, it was announced by Fran Mishinkash, president of the FBA.
Cocktails will be at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and the awards ceremony
at 7 p.m. The public is invited.
Pupkiewicz, who has been a member of the professional business
association for 15 years is being recognized and singled out for special attention for her service to the FBA, as well as the community-at-large. She is currently serving on the board of directors as its sergeant-at-arms. She also previously served as recording secretary and corresponding secretary and is chairman of the college scholarship committee and annual Easter egg hunt. She also serves as a member of the charity golf outing committee.
She began her career at the library as a book keeper and then was
prompted to administrative assistant. In her final decade of service with the
Lower Southampton library she held the position as assistant director. She also has been a member of the Friends of the Lower Southampton Library for 30 years.
A native of the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia, she is a graduate of St.
Hubert Catholic High School in Northeast Philadelphia and attended Bucks County Community College for continuing education credits in library science. She also has been active in the Rotary Club of Feasterville for 15 years where she serves as treasurer and has chaired fund raising for its pancake breakfast and spaghetti dinner, and its pocketbook bingo event. She additionally is a volunteer for the Neshaminy Activities Center Meals on Wheels program.
Pupkiewicz is a member of the Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church in
Feasterville, PA and has been a volunteer for its pre-school CCD and teen CYO programs. She also has been active on its hospitality committee for 20 years.
She has three adult children, a boy and two girls and has three grandchildren.
Tickets for the frolic are $75 per person which includes a cocktail reception,
dinner with wine, open bar all night, gift basket raffles and music and dancing to the Craig Satchell Orchestra.
