Community Grants

The Feasterville Business Association presented $14,500 in grants to Bucks County community and service organizations and also ear marked funds for college scholarships, holiday gift baskets for needy families and its annual Easter Egg Hunt. The awards were made by FBA President Rick Tyrrell from proceeds from the organization’s annual charity golf outing during a Lower Southampton Township Board of Supervisors meeting held at the township administration building in Feasterville, PA. Presenting was Linda Peters, secretary/treasurer of the Friends of the Lower Southampton Township Library, William F. Wiegman, Jr., president of the Council of SEPA On Alcohol And Drug Dependence, Rose McMenamin, vice president of the Playwicki Farm Foundation, Kate Sample, president of the Sunshine Foundation, Kathleen Curtin, associate director of Libertae, Linda Pupkiewicz, chairperson of the FBA Easter Egg Hunt, Peter Brown, executive director of the Lehigh Valley-Bucks County Chapter of the American Red Cross, Marge Biemuller, a volunteer at the Neshaminy Activity Center, Karen Madotto, immediate past president of the FBA accepting the grant for holiday gift baskets and scholarships, Dean Bryson, director of soccer for the Lower Southampton Athletic Association,  Mandy Mundy, senior director of programs and services for the Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA), Mary-Jo May, development director for Special Equestrians, Dan Maggiani, prime sponsor of the charity golf outing and Ed Shannon, golf outing chairperson. Also receiving grants but absent from photo were Sean/Me and A Women’s Place. Now in its 69th anniversary year, the mission of the FBA is to encourage growth and progress for the betterment of the community.
