Walter Mulholland  –  Director of Parks and Recreation for Lower Southampton Township

Walter Mulholland has  been the director of Parks and Recreation for Lower Southampton since May of 2021. Prior to this, he was with the Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation for 20 years, beginning as a part-time seasonal staff and working his way up to a leadership position as a recreation leader two. 

He is involved in multiple volunteer organizations including the Knights of Columbus, the St. Martha’s school board, as well as the Philadelphia Freeze, a special needs ice hockey team he created in 2019 to bring the game of ice hockey to athletes with intellectual or developmental delays.
