Tyrrell has been a member of the FBA for the past 10 years and has served as the professional business association’s president, vice president and as a long-time member of its executive board. He is being singled out for special attention for his service to the FBA, as well as the community-at-large. Tyrrell is the founder, owner and operator of Cheese Dawgs Restaurant located at 318 Bustleton Pike in Feasterville-Trevose, PA, which he established a decade ago. The restaurant features Tyrrell’s unique combinations and has become a local favorite. It was named the most loved restaurant in Feasterville for 2022 on Yelp and Doordash and Travel and Leisure Magazine previously identified it as having the best hot dog in Pennsylvania in 2021. Born in Abington, PA, he lived in Trevose and attended Assumption B.V.M. Church. He is an alumnus of Pleasant Valley High School in the Pocono Mountains and developed personal recipes through his experiences living in Texas, Florida and New York. He has been an active member of the Holy Ghost Preparatory School Fathers Guild in Bensalem, PA and served as a Little League baseball coach for the Bensalem Ramblers. He and his wife, Mary have two adult boys, Rick, 24 and Jason, 22. He additionally is a member of the Lower Southampton Comprehensive Plan Committee overseeing progress and structural development in the community. |

RICK TYRRELL, OF BENSALEM, PA WILL BE HONORED BY THE FEASTERVILLE
BUSINESS ASSOCIATION AS THE PERSON OF THE YEAR AT THEIR ANNUAL FROLIC
ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14
Rick Tyrrell, of Bensalem, PA, who has been in the restaurant industry for
40 years will be honored as the Person of the Year by the Feasterville Business
Association at the Philmont County Club, located at 301 Tomlinson Road,
Huntingdon Valley, PA on Friday evening, October 14, it was announced by Ron
Hyman, president of the FBA. Cocktails will be at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and
the awards ceremony at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Tickets for the frolic are $75 per person which includes a cocktail reception,
dinner with wine, open bar all night, basket raffles and music and dancing to the
